DINING
Traditional home-cooked Sri Lankan meals and a limited range of International cuisine can be prepared by our Chef using provisions provided by guests or bought from the local market by our staff on request. For less formal eating, meals can be arranged on the verandah or even on our beautiful deck overlooking the lake. Tea and coffee are available throughout the day. If you wish to dine outside of the property, local and international food could be obtained from cafes within 2-3 km of the property.
EXPERIENCES
Koggala Lake is one of the largest natural bodies of water in Sri Lanka, and includes famed attractions such as the Temple Island, Madol Duwa, Bird Island and Cinnamon Island. These Islands are home to rich fauna and flora that have stood the test of time. Excursions to the mangroves and bird watching are a popular pastime for tourists and sightseers. Our staff would be happy to assist you in arranging a private boat tour of the lake, which starts at our own pier, and is recommended to add to your experience with friends and loved ones. Our location is just a couple of kilometres from Kabalana beach, where you can enjoy a selection of cafes, local experiences, and of course water-sports. All the while, secluded enough so that you can enjoy perfect peace and quiet if you so choose on the miles of golden sand.
